Selftapes have taken over the casting industry, but that doesn't mean in-person has to disappear. Our studio offers a unique opportunity for casting directors, filmmakers, or theater directors to host in-person casting sessions with one of our readers. Our readers will assist in reading with talent, recording the sessions, and sending files.

The space can be rented with or without the use of a reader and for various lengths of time.
ALL BOOKING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO THE DESIRED DATE & TIME.

Make your selftapes stand out with beautiful lighting, quality images, and clean audio. Each one of our studios is equipped with professional-grade camera, lighting, and audio gear to help put your best foot forward. Our readers are trained to operate the camera with you as you go.

Our bookings include editing and delivery of your tapes before you leave the door!
Within your booking time, our readers will edit your tapes either as a single file or multiple files depending on your audition needs. Each file will be a small file to meet industry standard delivery requirements. Then, they'll email it to you and any of your managers or agents through Hightail or WeTransfer.*
*Requests to upload tapes directly to a casting site (ie. Casting Networks, Actors Access, etc.) will be charged a 5% fee.
Props
To you
Every now and then, an audition asks for a little something to set the scene. Fear not, we have it. Each of our studios is equipped with various props to bring that extra bit of realism to your tapes.
Please note: while each location has a lot of props, we can not guarantee that each location will have the exact props you need.
Stay
Refreshed
Long days of casting don't have to eat into your lunchtime. Our studio offers a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso machine, and water dispenser.
In the mood for something else? Our WeHo studio is conveniently located near our favorite spots like Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Jojo's Mediterranean Grill, Pinches Tacos, Wokano, & Joe's Pizza.

Parking
Our studio offers two parking spaces for your session. If you need more room, parking garages and street parking are located across the street or within walking distance.
Cancelation & Change Policy
All cancellation and change requests must be sent to info@selftape.com. To receive a full refund, cancelation requests must be made within 24-48 hours before the booking. Cancelation requests made between 12-24 hours before the booking will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 12 hours of your booking will only receive a 25% refund. Change requests made between 12-24 hours before the booking will be subject to a 10% fee. Any changes within 12 hours of your booking will be subject to a 25% fee. This process is to ensure that the time slot you booked can be opened and available to others who may need to book at that time.
File delivery Policy
We deliver all files to you and as many emails as you'd like (ie. managers, agents, etc.) through Hightail. We can also deliver through WeTransfer at no fee. If you would like us to upload your files to a casting website (i.e. Casting Networks, Actors Access, etc.), we will do so, provided we can do it during your session, and it will come at a 5% fee.
